I. Preface
Due to long – term staying up late, poor diet in the past decade, and lack of exercise caused by day – trading, I have recently experienced chest pain. In 2025, I decided to temporarily bid farewell to trading and fully devote myself to physical conditioning, knowledge output, and skills learning, laying a solid foundation for the future.
II. Goal Setting
- Physical Conditioning: Significantly improve the physical condition within one year by improving work – rest schedules, adjusting the diet structure, and strengthening appropriate exercise, relieve discomfort symptoms such as chest pain, and restore physical functions.
- Knowledge Output: Complete a series of articles covering various trading – related topics, first publish them on a personal blog, and then share them on other platforms, establishing a certain professional image in the industry.
- Skills Learning: Master C# programming and the use of the Ninjatrader platform, and at the same time improve English proficiency, especially listening skills, advancing from currently listening to “Oxford Bookworms Level 3” to easily listening to English podcasts on an iPhone.
III. Specific Plans
- First Quarter (January – March)
- Health Management
- Sleep Improvement: Develop a strict work – rest schedule, go to bed before 10:30 p.m. and fall asleep before 11 p.m., gradually stabilizing the sleep time at 7 – 8 hours per day. Avoid using electronic devices 1 hour before bedtime and help fall asleep by reading paper books.
- Diet Adjustment: Ensure an intake of about 500 grams of vegetables per day, increase the intake of whole grains and high – quality proteins, and reduce the intake of high – oil, high – salt, high – sugar, processed foods, and takeout. Make a weekly diet plan and purchase ingredients in advance to ensure a balanced diet.
- Exercise: Exercise 3 times a week, with each walk lasting more than 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of Baduanjin practice.
- Article Writing
- Determine the framework of the article topics.
- Complete at least 3 first drafts of trading – related articles, each with 1500 – 2000 words.
- Skills Learning
- C# Learning: Devote 3 hours per day.
- English Learning: Listen to “Oxford Bookworms Level 3” for 2 hours a day, listen sentence by sentence and repeat, and conduct 2 – 3 special listening exercises per week.

- Sleep Consolidation: Maintain good sleep habits. If sleep is poor, try soaking feet in hot water before going to bed, drinking warm milk, etc., regularly review sleep conditions and adjust the work – rest schedule.
- Diet Optimization: Increase the variety of foods, pay attention to diet regularity, eat regularly and quantitatively, summarize the diet every two weeks, and evaluate the nutritional intake.
- Exercise Upgrade: Exercise 2 times a week, with each jog lasting 20 – 30 minutes, and conduct simple strength training for 15 – 20 minutes once every two weeks. After walking, do 15 minutes of Baduanjin practice.

- Revise and improve the completed trading – related articles and publish them on the personal blog.
- Start writing at least 4 articles, elaborating on the specific operations of trading strategies, the application of self – developed indicators in actual trading, and risk management techniques in different market environments.

- Exercise Expansion: Maintain the exercise frequency, jog for 20 – 30 minutes each time, practice Baduanjin at least 4 – 5 times a week, 15 – 20 minutes each time, and conduct simple strength training 1 – 2 times a week.

- Start writing 3 – 4 articles on the construction of trading systems, advanced methods of trading mentality adjustment, etc., and explain the applications with actual cases.

At the end of each month, summarize and evaluate the completion of various tasks, with a focus on the progress of health management. Analyze the reasons for uncompleted tasks and adjust the plan in a timely manner. At the end of each quarter, evaluate the overall progress of the goals, optimize the plan for the next quarter according to the actual situation, and ensure the achievement of annual goals and the improvement of physical condition.
